EVs tend to drain power pretty fast afterall it's a battery, no different than your average Duracell AA batteries & incase of performance EVs this drainage of power is even more . . . let's take the Charger EV variant for example, say your in the Charger driving down a expressway at an average speed of 82 kph - 110 kph . . . occasionally you hit the gas & ur doing 168 kph . . . you wonder, there's enough juice in those batteries to reach your destination . . . which is why a combined hybrid power architecture is best for performance cars, hands down . . . Hennessey still doesn't have their own in-house power packs & keeps modifying cars with GM engines . . .
